I wrote a creative writing course, Dancing with Words, published by the University of Missouri Center for Distance and Independent Study for middle school gifted students.
I worked as an Editorial Specialist at Educational Technologies at Missouri (ET@MO) at the University of Missouri-Columbia. My work included editing course content submitted by professors and professional organizations for online university courses.
At the University of MO-Columbia Medical School, Division of Cardiology, I worked as a monograph editor and researcher for the Cardiology Director, which included editing content for Grand Rounds and an ongoing Public Health series publication.
I was a feature writer and copy editor at This Month at the Lake magazine, Lake Ozark, MO (sadly no longer in business). I wrote feature articles on people and places of interest in the Lake area. I also wrote several columns on various subjects, including cooking and boating. I edited all copy for this magazine for and about central Missouri and the Lake of the Ozarks region.
At Commodity News Services in Kansas City, MO, I was a reporter and editor, researching and writing articles in a fast-paced newsroom on issues and events impacting commodities trading.
I have edited several manuscripts, including books, articles, and web sites.
